Kabbalistic Attribute : Understanding. Analytical faculty of mind that explores the implications and applications of a seed idea. Discriminating intelligence.

Emotional Expression : Deeply internalized expertise in interpreting non-verbal communications that accurately guides the decision of whether to trust or mistrust.
Mental Expression : Analytical, logical, precise. Time sensitive. Deductive. Good at grasping details.
Spiritual Expression : Joy, which is the spontaneous emotion that arises in the heart when a person comes closer to God. Often joy comes from identifying the purpose or message that God intends in a given moment.

Barley's Healing Correspondences

Balanced, Rectified, God-Centered Expression: Using one's analytical faculties to determine what God wants in any given moment and how best to make that happen.

When Contaminated by Serpent (Ego) Consciousness: Cold, disembodied logic. No acknowledgement of mystery, of the fact that there are truths and realities beyond the mind's intellectual grasp.

Pathological Expression: Paranoid Personality Disorder which is a distorted expression of Bina 's sensitivity to non-verbal communications. (Paranoid Personality Disorder is defined as a pervasive distrust and suspiciousness of others such that their motives are interpreted as malevolent.)

Spiritual Plane: Spending so much time decoding God's communications that there is no time to just live and be. Too much in the head. Lacking spontaneity.

Spiritual Plane: Lacking a capacity to experience the joy that comes from creating a relationship with God based on mutual communication.
