Pomegranate's Healing Correspondences |
Balanced, Rectified, God-Centered Expression: Being a peacemaker because God wants people to love and respect one another, and because only that will bring redemption.
When Contaminated by Serpent (Ego) Consciousness: Being a people- pleaser, because that is what makes one feel secure in the world.
Pathological Expression: Histrionic Personality Disorder where the intense focus on another's needs flips and becomes an obsession to pull the focus of others onto oneself. (Histrionic Personality Disorder is defined as a pervasive pattern of excessive emotionality and attention seeking.)

Too Much on the... |
Too Little on the... |
Emotional Plane: Repressing one's real and healthy resistance to a wrong decision, in order to make peace with the immediate options at hand. Herd consciousness. |
Emotional Plane: Defining oneself more by what one rejects than by finding common ground. Focusing on what's wrong, rather than what's right. Lacking patience and willingness to be in process (a necessary part of the effort of making peace). |
Mental Plane: Wishy-washy belief system (like that of the character in the movie Zelig , who would begin to take on the appearance of whoever he was with). |
Mental Plane: Constantly undermining one's decisions by not being able to find and maintain an inner consensus to the stand taken. |
Spiritual Plane: Lacking moral fortitude. Always rationalizing the path of least resistance and greatest personal gain. |
Spiritual Plane: Missing the taste bud that actually takes pleasure from making peace and which compensates for the pain of compromise. |
